Tier 3 Elementals  

While not valuable just yet, the value of Northrend elemental material (Eternal Air, Fire, Water, etc.) will rise just like it did with old-world and The Burning Crusade elementals. 

At first, the price of all Eternal elementals will plummet. This is because many players have these in their bank and will be trying to sell them, while most players will not need or want these eternals any more. High supply and low demand means there is no gold to be had as a seller. 

However, after a few months, the supply will drop off since no players will be fighting in Northrend.  

There is a big wrench thrown into the value of Northrend Elementals. You can buy Frozen Orbs for 110 Justice Points (2 heroic dungeon bosses at level 85). You can then trade in your Frozen Orb for any eternal of your choice.

Very few players will realize that this trading system exists, but it will put a cap on the amount of gold these items will be worth. With that said, if the price does rise high enough, you can farm these quite readily at level 85: 

Tier 3 Fire Elementals 

Note: There are two locations you can farm these. The Wintergrasp location is preferable, but you can only farm there if your faction controls Wintergrasp. 

Target item: Eternal Fire (from Crystallized Fire)
Target mob: Wailing Winds (The Storm Peaks), Flame Revenant and Raging Flame (Wintergrasp)
Locations: Wintergrasp or The Storm Peaks

Both of these locations work. A great thing about these elementals is that the trash they drop frequently has a high vendor sale rate, so you earn a lot just killing them, even if the price of eternals is low. If the price of Eternal Fire is 30g or more, you can easily make 400-500 gold an hour in any of these locations.

Note that in order to effectively farm in WIntergrasp you need your alliance to have control over the area. Otherwise, you will not be able to see Flame Revenants, which have a 100% drop rate for Crystallized Fire.
