·         Using professions is the easiest way to make a lot of gold in World of Warcraft.

·         Dailies are the worst thing you can do to earn gold in WoW.

·         Each day that you log in, scan the auction house for the profitable recipes listed in this guide, and look to see if 1) any of these items are not listed on your server's AH and 2) see if you get the materials cheap enough to make it the craft worthwhile.

·         Buying and re-selling on the Auction House can also be very profitable, but is a more difficult skill to master.

·         Low-level players should take up gathering to earn gold for bag space, mounts, weapons, and to save materials for professions upon hitting level 85.

·         Generally, the most competitive markets are actually the least profitable in WoW. The prices of forgotten markets often rise dramatically. An example of this is the high price of companion pets built by Engineers.

·         If you are gathering or farming, be sure to look up the prices for old-time items to farm, especially ore, herbs, and primals from Outlands. It is really inconvenient to get to Outlands, making many players not want to farm there.

·         Always check the auction house for current prices and current supplies before deciding to craft or farm an item.

·         If there is more than 2 day's supply worth of an item on the auction house, prices will crash for that item, stay away.

·         If there is less than a 1 day's supply of an item on the auction house, prices will rise. It is a good time to craft or farm that item.

·         Players who use professions to make gold will always make more than those who gather or mine. It is much faster to craft in town and to buy and sell items then it will ever be to take your 40th lap around Deepholm.
